Employee Share Incentive Survey (ESIS)
The present taxation regime in Australia
provides employers with a good deal of flexibility in
designing employees’ remuneration packages to take account of
their preferences. The number of businesses that now do this
is growing.
Until 2003, in building up its knowledge
base and as a guide to developing proposals for its clients,
RSG has surveyed the remuneration practices of companies
listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and retained the
information for its own use.
Starting in 2004, and each
year after that, RSG will publish this information in the RSG
Share and Incentive Survey which will provide a guide to the
use of executive share and option plans, as well as executive
incentive plans and other remuneration practices in listed
companies.
This will be an invaluable guide to
organisations as they review their remuneration
strategies.
